Our office staff are all very well experienced in the Recruitment Industry, making it a big pleasure working with them all.
I started my working career in the banking industry in 1990 and in 2002 I joined the Express Family, initially as a payroll Administrator/Manager and in 2007 I had the opportunity to buy shares into the Express Durban North Franchise and became a co-owner in the business.
My passion in life is helping people and clients, specifically in the servicing of our clients, this is for me the single most important aspect of owning your own business, because frankly without our clients we are nothing. Our passion for service is also what differentiate us from our competitors.
As a business owner one does not have the luxury of specializing in only one aspect of the business, multitasking is at the order of the day. This comes with many challenges, however with the right employees this becomes a lot easier, and I can confidently say that this business has the best.
Lastly my vision for this business is to grow continuously and to be able to supply work to many more people in the future.
21 years in the Recruitment Industry, 6 years with Express Employment Durban North as the Employment Specialist. Predominately dealing with the Manufacturing sector ranging from General Workers, Artisans, up to Management level. Currently in the Temp Department handling all bulk recruitment within the Manufacturing Industry. I possess a great deal of knowledge within the Manufacturing Industry with a wide network of well qualified candidates across a range of job disciplines.
I am here to fill the needs of our clients with suitable candidates. However, a great by-product of that, is actually helping people secure the job they have been hoping for. When you are able to assist a person secure the role that helps them progress it is a great and rewarding feeling.
I have over 5 years’ experience in the Recruitment industry, specializing in the Freight and Supply Chain, FMCG, Retail and IT sectors, as well as having a passion for generalist roles.
My passion for matchmaking candidates to specific roles has led to a track record for placing top quality candidates in all sectors.
I have knowledge & experience in both Permanent and Temporary recruitment solutions and this has given me the satisfaction of finding the perfect placement for my clients, understanding that the right people are an asset to a business. Louise van Heerden
Payroll Administrator, Back Office Support. I assist with ISO and due to my 14 year relationship with the client, supply staff, end contracts and assist in disciplinaries for those clients. I also assist in dropping off weekly and monthly invoices and payslips. The highs of my job has always been seeing how the number of paid employees increase, delivering their first payslip and seeing the deep appreciation in their eyes, or running into them at a shopping centre, getting introduced to their family members and hearing how Express gave them their dignity back.

I passionately expertise in Payroll and Accounting. I’ve been apart of the Express family for 3 years and grateful for the additional knowledge and experience in payroll and temporary recruitment.

The role of an Operations Supervisor is to roll out and maintain the determined Service Level Agreement. This means an on site, hand’s on and visible approach to services rendered. Our clients can be rest assured that operations will get the job done.
I have been in Temporary Employment Service sector for approximately 12 years, with positions starting from a General Worker to a Site Supervisor and ultimately to an Operations Manager. I have worked with the some of the major role players in the industry and have found Express to be outstanding in their business etiquette. Our understanding of this business gives us the edge to provide a service that is both employee and client driven. Our greatest assets are our associates, and making sure we place them in accordance with their skill and qualification. I am honoured to have held the role of operations manager for the Express Durban North Branch. As part of my role I am able to positively impact the lives of my associates by encouraging them, motivating them and ensuring they are well taken care of at the various sites I am required to oversee. My associates are my top priority and this translates into increased productivity and performance for our clients. One of my greatest and proudest achievements to date was being able to effectively manage approximately 400 associates on our clients site; a giant manufacturing corporation.

I am currently involved with the Temp department where I am continuously learning about the Industry through all departments within the office.

I have been working at Express for 18 years as receptionist (front office co-ordinator). My greatest achievement is working at a well reputed company all these years. The skills and the knowledge that I’ve gained during my time at Express has enabled me to place customer service first which has added to company growth. I really enjoy spending time talking with people and the daily interactions I experience. The most rewarding part is seeing those smiles knowing that you contributed to that person experiencing joy; changing lives.
