Job Description
Our client, a Clothing Designer and Manufacturer, is looking for a Artistic Fashion Designer to join their team in Midrand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Researching and Identifying Key Seasonal Trends
- Garment Cad Designs and Clothing Cad designs
- Trim Developments
- Assisting With Store VM Artwork and Sell- In Catalogues
- Creating mood boards and colour palettes
- Range building
- Competitor analysis
- Assisting trend consultant with research
- Swing ticket development
- Developing and creating visually appealing graphic designs for clothing in line with brand aesthetics.
- Collaborating closely with the merchandise team to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to bring conceptual designs to life.
- Staying updated on industry trends, ensuring that our designs remain cutting-edge and resonate with our target audience.
- Working on various design projects, including but not limited to apparel graphics, prints, and branding materials.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven experience as a Designer in the clothing industry
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
