Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate Development Manager to oversee our dynamic team of software developers. This role involves leading software development efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both technical and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET and React development, team leadership, and a track record of successful product delivery. This position reports to the Solutions Architect Manager and will work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Cybersecurity, and support staff to ensure teams are meeting business and technical objectives are being met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Senior Developers, Backend Developers, and Front-End Developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Product Oversight: Oversee all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring best practices in development are consistently followed.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards, ensuring the development of reliable and efficient software solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other team leads, product owners, and stakeholders to align software development efforts with business goals and customer needs.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and priorities to meet product deadlines and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance team capabilities and product quality.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing solutions to challenges faced during the software development process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading software development teams, preferably in an environment.
  • Strong technical background in development, including experience with Core, ASP, and front-end technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies focusing on Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Certifications relevant to development or product management.
