Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic QA Lead who specializes in .NET technologies and is skilled in incorporating Microsoft Power Platform into quality assurance processes. This pivotal role involves overseeing the QA team, strategizing test plans, and ensuring the seamless integration of Power Platform tools into testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in leading QA teams, a deep understanding of .NET-based applications, and proficiency in both manual and automated testing strategies, enhanced by the innovative use of Power Platform. With a strong leadership background, the QA Lead will ensure that all software releases meet our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • QA Team Leadership: Direct and manage the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence in software testing and continuous improvement.
  • Testing Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for .NET applications, integrating Power Platform capabilities to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Power Platform Integration: Leverage Microsoft Power Platform to streamline testing processes, automate test scenarios, and provide insightful analytics for quality assurance.
  • Test Automation Oversight: Oversee the design and maintenance of automated test suites, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and aligned with the .NET framework and Power Platform.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams, including .NET Front-End and Backend Developers, to understand software intricacies and ensure alignment of testing with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Best Practices: Implement and advocate for industry best practices in QA, integrating Power Platform tools to elevate the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Defect Management and Reporting: Lead defect identification, documentation, and management processes, utilizing Power Platform for tracking and analysis.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to QA team members, enhancing their skills in .NET testing and Power Platform integration.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test strategies, plans, and Power Platform integration details, ensuring clarity and consistency in QA processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership experience in a QA team environment, specifically with .NET applications and Power Platform integration.
  • Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies within the .NET ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and its application in testing and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in quality assurance, with significant leadership responsibilities in a .NET-focused environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in software testing, .NET technologies, or Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with additional CI/CD tools and cloud-based testing environments.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
