Job Description

A company based in the outskirts of Pretoria is looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator. The company is  in the Electrical industry. This position is ideal for someone that is looking for a growth opportunity

This position is available immediately and requires a candidate that can work well in a pressurised environment 

Minimum requirements

  • 2 years’ experience working as a quantity surveyor (ideally the Electrical industry)
  • Knowledge and experience with CAD software
  • Excellent understanding of Afrikaans
  • Drivers license
  • Own transport

Advantageous experience/qualification

  • Quantity surveyor qualification
  • Experience in the Electrical Industry
  • MS Projects

Duties:

  • Compiling of Bill of quantities according to plans
  • Drawing of Blueprints/Drawing of plans in CAD format
  • Travelling to sites
  • Dealing with project managers
  • Liaise with client’s Project Administrators to finalise BOQ and drawings
