Express Employment Professionals is a leading staffing solutions company and have established ourselves as a trusted name in the industry. Express Pinetown|Durban South office is currently expanding their sales team and seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in the service sector to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
As an Experienced Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building long-term relationships with their clients. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals. Your expertise in the service sector will enable you to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the service sector through canvassing and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay updated on industry trends, labour law and competitive offerings.
- Present and demonstrate our services to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and addressing any concerns.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
Requirements:
- Proven 3-5 years’ experience as an outside Sales Representative driving new business in the service sector, (staffing industry will be advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of the service sector and understanding of customer needs and pain points.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel the Pinetown and Durban South regions.
- Must have a Grade 12 qualification, Driver’s License, and own reliable transport to get to work (public transportation will not be considered)
- Must reside in the Pinetown area.
Salary:
- Basic of R10 000 – R12 000 per month depending on experience
- Structured commission
- Express Company vehicle (Only to be used during business hours and will remain at the place of business after hours.)
